Tribute to Notre Dame - Synchronized Skating Team Marigold IceUnity's 2020 Long Program

Three years ago, in January 2020, I travelled to Helsinki Finland to film the synchronized skating team, Marigold IceUnity. Their free program was a tribute to the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, whose roof caught fire and partially collapsed the year before. The costume design by Ateljee Titta Kettunen, with its bright licks of flame, still evokes the emotions of that day in April. The Cathedral is currently on schedule to be fully restored in time for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
