Thursday 8th May 2025.
Today marks 80 years since VE Day – Victory in Europe Day – A national two-minute silence will be held at 12 noon, Thursday 8 May, to remember and thank those who fought for our freedom.
The community are welcome to attend the Commemoration at Formby War Memorial which begins at 11am.
Join us for a respectful gathering to mark the moment peace was declared in Europe.
