ବୃନ୍ଦାବନ ବାସୀ ପରସ୍ପର ବିରୋଧୀ ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଧନପତି ନେଇଯାଇଛି। ସେମାନେ ଦୀପାବଳୀ ପାଳନ ବିଷୟରେ ଚିନ୍ତିତ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ନନ୍ଦ କହିଛନ୍ତି କି ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିଜ ଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ ଯୋଗାଇଦେବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ନନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ଭଣ୍ଡାର ଲୁଟ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। କୃଷ୍ଣ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି କି ଦୀପାବଳୀ ନୂତନ ପୋଷାକ ପିନ୍ଧି ନୁହେଁ ନିର୍ମଳ ହୃଦୟରେ ମାଆ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି ପାଳନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଧନପତି ଦୀପ ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମସ୍ତ ତେଲ ଏବଂ ଲହୁଣୀ ନେଇଯାଇଥିବା ହେତୁ ଖୁସି ହୋଇଛି ଯାହା ଦ୍ଵାରା କେବଳ ତାହାର ଘର ହିଁ ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳିତ ଦେଖାଯିବ। କୃଷ୍ଣ ଜଙ୍ଗଲରୁ କାଠ ଆଣି ଜାଳି ସମଗ୍ର ବୃନ୍ଦାବନକୁ ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ରାଧାଙ୍କୁ ନ ପାଇ କୃଷ୍ଣ ଏବଂ ବଳରାମ ଖୋଜି ଖୋଜି ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି।

Vrindavan people turned against each other as Dhanupati took all their wealth. Nand comforts them and tells them to use his food supply to celebrate Diwali. Nand's house has been robbed and all his wealth and food supply’s. Krishna’s friend as this year they will not get any new clothes or sweets whereas Krishna tells them that it’s not about sweets and new clothes it’s a festival of light. Villagers were upset about no source of oil and clarified butter to celebrate Diwali Krishan told them that we should celebrate Diwali with pure hearts to please goddess, Lakshmi. Dhanupati is happy as in the whole village his house will only be light as he has all the sources of oil and clarified butter. Krishan brings dry wood to light the whole of Vrindavan to celebrate Diwali. Radha when missing so Krishna and Balram go in search of her and finds her in the forest. Everyone worships the goddess, Lakshmi.
