After reflecting on Selmer 505, Fanou Torracinta treats us with an intimate performance of his original composition “A nottebughju”, which is Corsican for “In the Dead of Night, recorded right after his concert at the Grappelli–Django Camp, organized by Tim Kliphuis.
Fanou is a bright rising star in the Gypsy jazz scene, rooted in Django Reinhardt’s fast-paced tradition while weaving in dreamy Corsican colors and twists.
