Episode 17: Confessions of a Leader – Site Visits, Strategy & 5-A-Side Football

This episode starts with an early morning client call, checking in on the processes we rolled out last week and making sure progress is on track.

From there, it was a day full of meetings: first with the Facilities CEO, then with the marketing, brand, and social media team as we prepared for upcoming photoshoots and PR campaigns.

The afternoon was spent on the ground, joining our Facilities Operations Manager on site visits — not just reviewing standards but also carving out some valuable quality time together.

The evening brought a security meeting across two venues, before swapping the boardroom for the pitch with Wednesday night 5-a-side football.

By the time I walked through the door at 11:30pm, it had been a 16-hour day and the alarm was already set to do it all again tomorrow at 6am.
