Pick n Pull just got another classic. This time it's a 1979 Chrysler New Yorker that appears to have been originally from New Mexico. Essentially no rust to speak of in this one and it looks like it was well taken care of most of it's life. Unfortunately the previous owners donated it to the yard. it at least it will be up for sale there. 1979 marked the first year of the the Chrysler R platform that lasted all of three years from 79-81, making this one of the last Mopar Land Yachts. I was told that it runs fine and even the air conditioning works well. There were also maintenance records in the glove box showing recent new parts. The interior was well preserved with even the dash pad being crack free. From the odometer, a little over 100k miles appears to be in line with the rest of the car. Under the hood was just as nice and the 360 small block was pretty clean. I believe this one will find a home eventually.
