Welcome back to Day 3 of my Darjeeling Diaries! Today is a mix of heritage and adventure. We start the day ticking off a bucket-list item: The UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train). The loop at Batasia and the steam engine whistle is an experience like no other!
After the joyride, we pack our bags and leave the comfort of Darjeeling town. The real trekking adventure is about to begin as we drive towards Sepi, our base camp for the Sandakphu trek. The roads are winding, the views are getting greener, and the excitement is building up!
