Maphilindo Silat uses Harimau ground movements for position, entry and transition! This low position can be used to attack the legs, takedown and even kick from. In Filipino Kali, these positions are great to transition from kneeling to sitting and back, all with the flexibility and movement to allow the hands the freedom to utilize weapons without having to stabilize or post on the ground.
