Nikola Cvetkovic Plays OPETH | PIANO WORKS | 2019

A compilation with 13 solo piano renditions of Opeth's music.


Not long after I published my compilation with Katatonia piano renditions, I thought that the next logical step would be to cover Opeth as I've been a fan of the band for a very long time. Needless to say that it was a bit tricky re-arranging the songs for a solo piano due to their progressive and complex nature, but I sat down and worked on it until I was completely satisfied. I picked the songs from various periods of Opeth's discography, mainly those that would sound most suitable when transcribed and played on a piano. Probably my most ambitious project to date.
Before anyone asks - I do NOT have sheet music for this, everything was being arranged just by thoroughly listening to the songs and carefully analyzing them.
