Cruising On Our New Favorite Cruise Ship: Sun Princess in the Caribbean

This is the story of my February 2025 Caribbean cruise on the Sun Princess cruise ship out of Ft Lauderdale, Florida. We visited Princess Cruise Line's private island, Princess Cays... San Juan, Puerto Rico, and St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.

At Princess Cays, we rented a private bungalow at a bargain price. In San Juan, we visited our favorite Mexican restaurant, which is conveniently located right where the cruise ships dock. In St Thomas, we took one of our favorite Caribbean excursions... the St John Catamaran Sail & Snorkel, which involves sailing on a catamaran to the neighboring island of St John.

In the video, you also see a few interesting entertainment venues on the ship, see the exclusive Sanctuary Club, and find out where to find the good pizza on Sun Princess. (As well as the bad pizza!)

A few entertainers that impressed me were Kivi Rogers, Lou Gazzara, Dr Sax, and Janice Martin.

A great shore excursion that we went on in St Thomas was the St John Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel. We also rented a private bungalow on Princess Cays, and enjoyed some fantastic fajitas in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at a restaurant called Tijuana's.
