Today we are taking a cross town walk from the Upper West Side of Manhattan, all the way across to the Upper East Side. We will start the walk over at Riverside Drive and take a look at some steam punk style architecture. From there, we will walk down to Holy Name of Jesus Church and go inside to look at the beautiful stained glass windows and architecture. We will then continue the walk and make the "Traverse" across Central Park via the 97th Street Central Park Transverse. The walk will reach all the way to 2nd Avenue and, we will end the walk at the 96th Street Train Station for the Q Line. Along the way, we will look at apartment buildings, street construction, and old geological rock formations as we pass through the Central Park Transverse.
