7th Gen Maxima Coolant Leak, Radiator Filler Neck, Radiator Replacement and Front Bumper Removal.

I did this repair a couple of years ago but thought it might be helpful to someone. If you have a small leak, start by checking the radiator filler neck! That was part of the source of the original leak in my case.

I have included the links to the parts I used for this process below to make it an easy search for anyone who needs to do this job. You will save yourself a TON of money doing it on your own! In total I spent about $300 on parts and supplies instead of paying $900 plus for a shop to do the job! Remember to keep all screws.and clips organized to make putting them back a breeze! The magnetic tray will be a huge help!

I changed the top radiator hose, because I saw the coolant residue that lead me to think it was the cause of the leak. The original hose was actually still fine but the clamps that hold it on were loose causing the the leak to appear at the end of the hose.

Replacing the radiator hoses on my 12 year old Maxima was still good preventative maintenance & the parts were very affordable at AutoZone.

Part of the source of the first leak was plastic filler neck which had a small crack in the seam. I was only able to see that was where the first leak was coming from when I had the engine hot at operating temperature. It was a super easy replacement and the part was really affordable on Amazon.

A few weeks after this repair resolved my problem, a new issue came up when my radiator started to leak. This was all basically a timing issue based on age and normal wear. Remember the car is a 2010 with about 185,000 miles on it at the time.

I replaced the radiator with a new one from Autozone which was also very affordable. Overall, each step of these repairs was not bad except for reaching the lower hose to disconnect it to change the radiator.
Sorry I couldn't record that part. I couldn't get a good camera angle and boths hands were tied up with the work. My wife helped me with that part.

The front bumper cover and bumper assembly need to come off for this job. It's a very easy process and hope the video helps in case you need to do any part of this process.
