Recently I have changed the oil on my 2012 Yamaha R1, and I thought it would be good idea to start a new series of "how to" videos. I bought my bike brand new and I will be doing all maintenance by myself. I will be sharing everything on Youtube. I will make a new playlist for this kind of videos. My bike has 3000 miles already and this is 2nd oil change.

STUFF YOU ARE GOING TO NEED FOR THE OIL CHANGE

1. Engine Oil 5W-20 or 10W-30 (I am using non synthetic, but will change soon)
2. Oil Filter
3. Rachet
4. 17 mm socket
5. T20 Hex key
6. Oil filter wrench ( Not necessary but it helps so much, it's only $10 at the dealer)
7. Extender for the oil filter wrench and the rachet
8. Small screwdriver
9. Oil pan for used oil
10. Rugs

Stands are not necessary
