Famous as a setting of the Tale of Chunhyang, Gwanghallu Garden shows our ancestor’s wisdom for adapting to and assimilating with nature. The garden was built during the Joseon Dynasty to create a utopia in the world and was designated as Scenic Site No. 33. The Gwanghallu Garden is one of the top four pavilions along with Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, Chokseongnu Pavilion and Pubyok Pavilion for its marvelous construction.
