That’s the setup I ran at Lemo and on my first visit at Super Rajikon Akihabara. Then I changed it a bit on my 2nd visit trying to get to the 7.9’s fast lap.
I think if I had a full weekend to learn the Kyosho tires and motor mount/disk damper compatibility. I would have been able to get in the low 7.8’s and maybe even 7.7’s. The overheating motor, bouncy rearend, too much rear traction was and 2 hours to figure all of that out was too tight. Anyway I’m still very happy that I was able to play my Mini-Z for a total of 400 laps in 4 total hours. We don’t have a permanent track here in the Bay Area, not 1 Mini-Z track! The closest one is in Southern California which is 5-6 hours away so putting some laps in after two months was really nice! 😊 👍
