Wounds are a nagging and chronic problem. There is a solution, but first, we must identify why the wound occurred and why it’s not healing—why it's become chronic. We must find the root cause of this delay in healing and address it, using advanced wound care methods.
Healing a wound isn’t just about treating the area; it involves treating the entire body. Patients with wounds may have liver issues, kidney problems, uncontrolled diabetes, heart conditions, immunity issues, or autoimmune diseases. Identifying and targeting the underlying cause is key to treatment.
Once patients come to us—regardless of the wound stage—we usually need 4 to 12 weeks for healing. This may involve dressings alone, surgical interventions, or advanced dressing products. Follow-up is crucial to prevent recurrence.
