We flew from my home at the Lynden Airpark (38W) to Eastsound (KORS) on Orcas Island to have breakfast at the New Leaf Cafe. The flight is less than 15 minutes from our airpark in Lynden, WA. Our friend Andy came in his RV6A from Auburn, WA - S50 and Tom came from Paine Field - KPAE in his Piper Tomahawk. The still photo at 9:33 is the old Intalco Aluminum plant that was established in 1966. It is now shutdown. At one point it employed 1,350 workers and produced 8% of the nation's aluminum.
