How to maintain an Emerson Fisher Natural gas EZR Pressure Regulator

Learn how to perform maintenance on the EZR Pressure regulator by safely disassembling, inspecting the regulator body, cage, diaphragm, plug assembly, PRX pilot and filter for any issues, and reassembling correctly.

The Type EZR pilot-operated, pressure reducing regulator is designed for natural gas transmission/ distribution systems and industrial/commercial applications. The Type EZR provides smooth, quiet operation, tight shutoff and long life, even in dirty service. It can be used with the 161EB or 161AY and Type 112 restrictor, or with a PRX pilot (with integral restrictor).
