PeopleMover Disneyland c.1974 audio mix

This is my audio mix for the 1974 version of the PeopleMover at Disneyland. This is a recreation of the full 1974 ride through experience, complete with many pictures in their respective order as well as the full source audio. This was when they used two variants of Nation on Wheels for the music, before they installed the Elevator-Type music which played from the 1976-77 refurbishment until the ride's closure in 1995. The first was recorded for the PeopleMover in 1967, and the other I believe was recorded for the 1964-65 World's Fair and also used for the Disneyland Monorail system during the same time period. Here they are both at a different pitch from the original versions, likely due to the wearing down of the tapes, which was probably like this until the 1976-77 refurbishment when they installed the iconic Elevator-Type music that lasted until the ride's closure in 1995. Like the 1977 version (a recreation I made using an extremely rare live recording linked below), this narration is provided by Disney Legend Jack Wagner. The narration is a bit lower quality but it's still the closest thing that I've ever heard of any of the isolated PeopleMover narrations. Because the high quality version of the 1974 spiel was mixed with different music I believe, because I wanted to make this as accurate as possible I simply used the lower quality isolated version and mixed it with a loop of the pitch-corrected versions of Nation on Wheels. Although I wasn't alive back then, I know all this because of two amazing and extremely rare 1974 live recordings of the PeopleMover which are also linked below. This was right in the heart of the golden age of Tomorrowland (1967-1985), when there were many attractions which were actually focused on building a better future instead of merely promoting Pixar and Star Wars. Although Space Mountain was still a few years away from opening in 1977, the PeopleMover, Rocket Jets, Adventure Thru Inner Space, Skyway, Disneyland Monorail, and a few more all offered a much more optimistic and appealing view of the future through actually making solutions to the problems of today. This is also present in the absolutely beautiful Mary Blair murals on both sides of the corridor. And although the Carousel of Progress (another all time classic) was shut down in 1973, at least they repurposed the Carousel theater for the also very fun, albeit not quite as futuristic, America Sings in 1974. About five minutes into the video, the ride also briefly enters Fantasyland where you can see the Matterhorn, Motor Boat Cruise, and it's a small world. Ideally, this amazing and classic ride should have never been removed in the first place, and I hope this video does a good job recreating the PeopleMover as it was in the mid 70's.
