Styling A Juniper Bonsai With Josh.

Welcome Back To Bonsai-En

In todays episode Josh works on some raw material nursery stock which is a Juniper Squamata or sometimes known as a green mound juniper or juniper nana.


When working on this Juniper Bonsai josh takes the first initial steps from taking this tree from raw stock to Bonsai. This includes some initial deadwood work and also some basic wiring to set some branch structure on the tree. There is a few precautions taken though as a lot of foliage is taken off during the deadwood work so some extra foliage was left on the tree in the final result to help the tree recover, however the tree will be reduced some more in its second working after the tree has recovered.
