Avance 6 Head Embroidery Machine Making Logo Wear

ColDesi uses our own product all the time to produce company logo wear, sample shirts, etc. We took the opportunity today to record creating some new shirts for our tech support department so you could see the Avancé 1506C 6 head embroidery machine in action.

• The ColDesi logo design being embroidered is 7784 stitches
• Stitches per minute was set for 800
• Sewing time was about 11 minutes
• The video was not stopped or cut once the sew out began
• We used Royal polyester thread
• The shirt was purchased from Sanmar.com – model SP17

This is our showroom and not a production shop, so we had to travel a bit to remove and put the next set on, but even with that production on 6 shirts took about 15 minutes which is 4 turns per hour or 24 shirts per hour.

A single head embroidery machine would probably have been able to produce about 4-5 shirt in an hour.

So you have 2 big advantages in going with or upgrading to a 6 head embroidery machine:

1. $/hour – If these shirts sold for $30 you would be making $720/hour in sales with the 6 head and $120-150/hour on the single head.
2. $/head – a Multihead is a better investment because you pay so much less for the extra productivity. A single head Avance 1501C normally sells for around $11,995. The 1506C shown sells for $34,995. You’re paying under 3X the price for up to 6X the profitability.
The Avance 1506C is a great value product as well, coming in thousands less than equivelant Barudan 6 head embroidery machines, Tajima multi head embroidery machine and ZSK 6 head embroidery machines.
