1978 Ford Mustang Monroe Handler
The first one was released in 1977 and built by Monroe Shocks. They built it to show case their new Handler shocks.
It had a few improvements over the Mustang 2:
Roush Tuned 363 CID Engine producing 400 hp
Modified Suspension
Upgraded exterior with steel IMSA style fenders and other enhancements by Creative Car Craft
The original steel body attracted a lot of attention, so a year later Creative Car Craft produced six more units with fiberglass body kit instead of steel. These cars weren't available for sale, you had t enter a contest to win one. How ever they did end up making an eight piece body kit you could by for $1,250. They were still pretty limited with less than 30 being made.
