When people say we have a great relationship, we breathe, we smile, and we soak it in because it was not always this way.
We are sharing because we also dodged the bullet of a disconnected, fractured family. On our journey through family upheaval, through a broken relationship, and over to a better place, we learned some powerful lessons about how to be close as a mom and teenage son. Now we are here on the other side waving a flag of hope that no matter how hard things might get between you and your kids, there is hope for a close connected family.
This is our soul work. Working together to support parents in creating a family their kids will want to come home too.
