Pritzker says Trump is 'betraying' promises for U.S. economy with tariff changes (FULL Q & A)

Amid President Donald Trump's constant changes with retaliatory tariffs against U.S. trade partners, an outspoken critic of his -- Illinois Governor JB Pritzker -- didn't mince words on the topic.

After a press conference where he signed a Memorandum of Understanding between UK and Illinois on Tuesday, Pritzker shared his thoughts on Trump's tariffs.

"Donald Trump is betraying what people thought he would do for the economy," said Pritzker. "When he said he was going to lower prices for people on day one, he's doing exactly the opposite."
