Practicing without the preasure.
I challenged myself to draw 100 hands for my upcoming character compilation. In this video I only draw 98 hands but that is very intentional.
I decided to draw in a crappy lined notebook to take the preasure off and it worked like a charm.
This practice is essential for fighting my instinct to draw nicely in my sketchbooks and actually get into the practice of it without caring about creating "pretty" art. If you struggle with the fear of a blank page or feel too much pressure to practice ugly, this video is for you.
