8 Reasons Why I Still Buy Compact Discs | Retro Tech Review

It's no secret that CDs are not as popular as they used to be. But there are folks like me who still buy CDs, and still enjoy listening to them.

Of course, streaming is very popular nowadays. I never could get in to streaming. It just doesn't appeal to me. I still get a rush buying a new CD by one of my favorite artists.

When you think about compact discs versus vinyl, what do you think is better? What sounds best to you? I love the sound of vinyl, but to my ears it still does not match the clarity of CDs.

The dynamic range and reproduction of Compact Discs is still tough to beat. Plus, as I mention in the video, CDs tend to be much cheaper than vinyl.
