So this is a pretty cool game from the Yankees TV network, July 29, 1987, but not because it's the Kansas City Royals and Bo Jackson (who gets a base hit and walks) and starter Danny Jackson visiting Yankee Stadium, with fan-favorite Steve Trout pitching. No, this game is cool for a different reason.
See, director Penny Marshall took the cast and crew of the Tom Hanks film "Big" to Yankee Stadium this afternoon to shoot a scene that made it into the final cut of the movie. The part of the game in the movie happens with one out in the top of the seventh with Bo Jackson leading off first and Yankees reliever Tim Stoddard pitching to the Royals' Angel Salazar. As you watch the game, Phil Rizzuto and Bill White refer to the camera crew filming in the stands down the first-base line.
