उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश सहित 6 राज्यों में वोटर लिस्ट के स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन के लिए संशोधित शेड्यूल को बढ़ा दिया गया है. इसके साथ ही इन राज्यों के निवासियों को SIR के लिए थोड़ी और मोहलत मिल गई है. समय सीमा बढ़ाए जाने वाले राज्यों में उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, गुजरात, तमिलनाडु और अंडमान निकोबार शामिल हैं.
