Photos, video clips, aerial views of Bushmills and Portballintrae on the Causeway coast, Co Antrim Northern Ireland. Street videos taken from camera similar to the go pro camera that I have mounted to handlebars of my bike. The stopover carpark is right in the town, there are toilets and large litter bins in the carpark. An old 1800s national school is situated down a short land close to the stopover. Bushmills whiskey distillery is about a 15-20 min walk from the stopover car park. The River Bush runs through the town past a park and a beautiful mill with a waterwheel. the village of portballintrae is only about 1. 1/2 miles away, has a couple of beautiful beaches, a little harbour and has a nice golf coarse and club house (The Bush Foot). the River Bush runs along the edge of the golf coarse. A miniture railway leaves a little terminal close to Bushmills village and takes you to the Giants Causeway which is only a few miles away from Bushmills, you can also cycle or walk along the little path that runs along the side of the railway track to the Giants Causeway, a bus from the stopover carpark is also available to get to the Giants Causeway. Bushmills has a few chip shops, a chinese restrauant , a pizza carryout and the usual pubs.
