[SMRT] Mercedes-Benz OC500LE on Service 975. With the closure of Lim Chu Kang Road on the early hours of 8 June 2025, services that once plied either fully or in part of the road, will no longer ply this road that has been around for many years. 40 Tiang, Lim Chu Kang Road was an iconic road, not just because the iconic 975 and 405 plied those roads, but also the road where history of both Singapore's car scene and Defense sector were forged. With the closure of this road, the iconic road will ride into history. The road has since been closed for the expansion works of Tengah Airbase, and now 172, 405 and 975 has since been ameneded to ply new roads. On its last day, many turned out on the evening of 7 June 2025, to bid a final farewell to the iconic 40 Tiang, Lim Chu Kang Road. Filmed on 6 June 2025.
