Wildcat Mountain - Wildcat Express Quad

The Wildcat Express Quad is a detachable quad chairlift located at Wildcat Mountain. The chairlift runs from the base area of the ski area to the summit of the ski area. From the top of the chairlift, skiers and riders can access all of Wildcat's 48 trails. Some notable trails located off of this chairlift include Polecat, the longest beginner run in New Hampshire, and Lynx, the first and last trail to often be open in the state. Serving just over 2,000 vertical feet, the Wildcat Express Quad is the tallest chairlift in New Hampshire. The lift was installed in 1997 by Doppelmayr, replacing an old double chairlift. In the summer and fall, the chairs are replaced with gondola cabins for scenic lift rides.

Wildcat Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Pinkham's Grant, New Hampshire, located in between the towns of Jackson and Gorham. The mountain is known for being located directly across from Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in the Northeastern US, providing amazing views. The ski area is also known for its long groomers and plentiful ungroomed and steep trails. With just over 2,000 feet of vertical, Wildcat is the second tallest ski area in New Hampshire after Cannon. Even though the ski area is located right in the heart of the White Mountain Nation Forest, it is still extremely accessible, being located right off of NH Route 16. During the summer of 2019, the ski area was purchased by Vail Resorts from Peak Resorts, which resulted in Wildcat joining the Epic Pass. The ski area is sister resorts with Attitash, which is located just 20 min down the road. Both ski areas share the same tickets, so one can ski both ski areas on the same day (currently not the case due to COVID). In the summer, Wildcat is home to disc golf, a zip-line, and scenic gondola rides.
