Although Easter is still a long way off, I thought it would be nice to post a little video of Our Lady of the Samana Santa. Holy Week in Spain, known as Semana Santa in Spanish, is an important religious celebration known throughout the Catholic world. The event takes place during the week leading up to Easter Sunday. In 2025, it begins on April 13 and ends on April 20 Its well worth going to see. These clips come from our Inquisition series and they are from Avila, Salamanca and Seville. The clips of Our Lady come from Seville.
