Performed at the Annual Utsav of Delhi Satsang Vihar, C.R. Park (2024), this special presentation is our humble musical offering on the sacred occasion of the 138th Birth Anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra. 🙏✨

With an incredible record of 25 total wins 🏆 — including
11 First Positions 🥇
10 Second Positions 🥈
4 Third Positions 🥉 —
the hard work, passion, and perseverance of the members truly paid off, making Alankaar the society with the most wins in the IMS Circuit (Indian Music Societies of Delhi University) this session(2023-24). 🌸✨

About the composition:
This Indian classical choral composition weaves together a journey through four evocative ragas — each bringing its own color, mood, and emotion to the performance:

🎶 Structure of the Composition:

1.Shloka in Raag Jog – meditative and serene, invoking divine peace.

नवमासधृतं गर्भं भास्करस्य गभस्तिभिः ।
पीत्वा रसं समुद्राणां द्यौः प्रसूते रसायनम् ||

2.Bandish in Raag Megh (Madhyalay Ektal) – deep and soothing, evoking the mood of monsoon.
स्थाई :-
छायी घटा घनघोर
चहूँ ओर गरज -गरज
चमकत बिजुरिया

अंतरा:-
चलत पवन सनन ननन
घिर आई बदरिया
कैसे जाऊ पिया पास
झरन लागे बंदरिया

3.Bandish in Raag Charukeshi (Ektal) – emotional and expressive, filled with pathos and beauty.
स्थाई:-

पिया बिन चैन ना आवे
तरपत हूँ दिन रैन
अब तोरें बिन पिया मोरे
कछु ना सुहावे

अंतरा:-

जब ते गए मोहे
घड़ी पल बिरहा सतावे
पीर जगाए काहे सताए
मोहे कछु ना ही भावे
