The sermon linked the Trayvon Martin trial verdict to the death of Jesus, whom was innocent. Simon carried Jesus' cross, that represents and unjust Roman system, behind Him. Simon does want his sons, Alexander and Rufus, raised with bitterness preventing them from being productive and blame race on everything. Thus Simon: Simon keeps his eyes and faith focused on Jesus; 2) Trust in God during rough times; 3) God resurrects dead situations and has the final verdict.
