This one’s been on the list for nearly a decade.
We finally finished the spur to the ballast pile—and remarkably, nothing jumped the rails. Yes, that was the plan. And yes, we do actually know what we’re doing.
This new section brings the track right to our mountain of ¾-inch stone, which should make future trackwork and maintenance a little less of a workout. At least we won’t need the wheelbarrow for ballasting anymore.
