MOUNTAIN KADAM Hiking Adventure | Travel Film

We started our travel adventure with a trek through the narrow road on the sparsely populated plains of the native Pokot and Karimojong people that led into the mildly vegetated foothills of the mountain. And everything in between here and basecamp would be the ultimate test of our determination to reach the summit in a single day where it would normally take 2 days.

It took us 4 hours of climbing, taking breaks in between, soaking in the beautiful views from below, refreshing, and almost crawling on cliff walls to eventually make our first stop at basecamp.
Another adventure, this time with more passion than with bodily energy began. Only proceeding with two guides, self acclaimed mountain goats.
We hiked through beautiful superficially western forests, small waterfalls, and frequently had to climb rock walls that seemingly brought us to a high with sweet views yet revealed even newer peaks above
Another 4hours had slowly gone by and there we were. At the very summit we had so much wanted to reach. Also baptised new mountain goats
The hike through Mount Kadam is not for the faint hearted. But it’s a purely unforgettable experience for those who dare to adventure through this truly Ugandan wilderness.
