نُظِّمت ضمن فعاليات الحدث المصاحب لليوم البحري العالمي 2025 جلسة حملت عنوان "محيطنا.. التزامنا وفرصنا"، وركزت على العلاقة الوثيقة بين صحة المحيطات وازدهار الإنسان وحماية البيئة والنمو الاقتصادي. وأكد المتحدثون أن حماية المحيطات مسؤولية مشتركة، وأن الاستثمار في الاقتصاد الأزرق أصبح ركيزة للنمو المستدام، مع الدعوة إلى تعزيز التثقيف البحري، وتمكين الشباب، والاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة كالرقمنة والذكاء الاصطناعي في دعم استدامة القطاع البحري.
Global Experts: Protecting the Oceans is a Shared Responsibility to Ensure Human and Environmental Prosperity
As part of the World Maritime Day Parallel Event 2025, the session ‘Our Ocean - Our Obligation - Our Opportunities’ focused on the close relationship between ocean health, human prosperity, environmental protection, and economic growth.
Speakers emphasized that protecting the oceans is a shared responsibility, and that investing in the blue economy has become a cornerstone of sustainable growth. They also called for greater marine education, youth empowerment, and the use of modern technologies—such as digitalization and artificial intelligence—to support the sustainability of the maritime sector.
