Making a resin POISON APPLE from Disney's Snow White - FAIL (kinda)

This was a fun idea which turned into a long and a little bit of a disastrous project, but I'm really happy with the final result! Perhaps one day I'll revisit this project and try again to make something even better.

A few issues I encountered, and some thoughts:
Lots of bubbles in the resin!
I don't have a pressure pot, which would help reduce the bubbles in the resin
I cut the sides of the first mould too low, and there was a small hole in it, which is why I made another silicone mould - I don't think I mentioned that in the video as the reason I did a second mould
The rising apple in the second silicone mould caused a bit of a nightmare, I should have secured the apple better
I should have prepared the apples better with a tidier opening for where the resin was going to be poured. More prep on the mould would have made the resin casting process much easier
I mixed WAY too much resin. I forgot it's not a one-to-one ratio of part A and B, so I added twice as much part B than I should have. But at least I've got two new coasters, a large D20 dice and a triangle-sided lump thingy
The fairy lights were a bad idea. The resin wasn't opaque enough to hide all the individual lights, but my original idea was for the apples to be really translucent, so my brain wasn't really switched on right from the start. The resin colourants weren't as transparent as I hopedd
The resin was thinner than expected, which meant my glitter plan went to sh1t
My impatience is ALWAYS an issue, lol. I'm a stubborn, impatient Aries
Resin dust gathered in the open bubbles on the outside of the resin which caused lots of little white dots. More sanding would have only opened up more bubbles and filled them with more dust. I could probably have added a thin layer of resin to the ouside, but by that point I was so over it and didn't want to pour more resin
