Basic techniques as footwork, stance, piercing, slashing etc., those revived brilliant medieval German longsword's techniques are compltely introduced in this video!

Medieval German swordsmanship is different from Japanese swordsmanship. Its sword handling performed from various stances works as attack and defense both in one motion.

In this video its various unique attacking way with double-edged longsword together with the basics as gripping, stancing, and how to make stepps are explained.

While blocking the opponent's attacking sword by intesecting both swords, own sword reaches the opponent's body which can be realized specially by double-edged longsword.

The basic concepts and spirits of European swordsmanship from medieval epoch is introduced here in this video.
