Here is my version of a Buffalo Midge. This versatile dry fly represents a large midge or midge cluster. It will also work as a beetle or ant imitation during the summer months.
Hook: Standard 16 or 18 Dry Fly Hook
Thread: Veevus 14/0 Black (Any black thread will work)
Body: Peacock Herl
Wing: Midge Gray Zelon or EP Triggerpoint Fibers
Foam: 2mm Black Craft Foam
Legs: Grizzly Hackle
