ORIENT EXPRESS GEFUNDEN - UND EIN LABOR VOLLER CHEMIKALIEN: das alte Kraftwerk 🔎 Lost Place Urbex

Im letzten Teil unseres Besuches des Bahnreparaturwerks erkunden wir das stillgelegte Kraftwerk, wo der Strom für die gesamte Anlage produziert wurde. Wieder einmal müssen wir ein altes Förderband erklimmen um ins Innere des Gebäudes zu gelangen. Was wir dort finden ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes atemberaubend: der Kraftwerksteil ist von Tauben „besetzt“ und entsprechend sieht auch der komplette Boden aus. In einem kleinen Nebenzimmer entdecken wir ein komplett eingerichtetes Chemielabor, doch DAS war noch nicht alles. Gerade als wir gehen wollten springt uns auf einem Abstellgleis ein Zug ins Auge. Das Besondere daran: einige der angehängten Wagen sind Teil des legendären Orient Expresses – der absolute Wahnsinn!

In the last part of our visit to the railway repair plant, we explore the disused power plant where the electricity for the entire system was produced. Once again we have to climb an old conveyor belt to get inside the building. What we find there is literally breathtaking: the part of the power plant is “occupied” by pigeons and the entire floor looks the same. In a small side room we discover a fully equipped chemistry laboratory, but THAT wasn't all. Just as we were about to leave, a train caught our eye on a siding. What's special about it: some of the attached cars are part of the legendary Orient Express - absolutely amazing!
