Based on the opening cutscene from "Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective" from "Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People". Night Mist is one of my patrons, and wanted to see a dub of this comic, so I figured why not ^^. Is it a transparent Homestar Runner parody, or a satirical look at Hollywood's flimsy film industry? The answer.... yes :P
