Join us as we float up the California coast and visit a handful of our State Beaches during the king tides! These naturally occurring ocean events cause extreme low and high tides along the California coast. Students will hear from State Park interpreters from southern to northern California and get to witness the high water events happening live! We'll learn about the science of what causes king tides and we'll even have a special guest appearance from a researcher from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Get ready to time travel as we learning how king tides allow us to see into the future!
