1 Second Everyday 2025

Yet another year. This marks my 6th year of filming one second every single day.

When I received a notification that my 1SE is ready, my first thought was “It’s scary how time flies…”

I can’t help but wonder how you see my life after watching this video. If you’re new to this channel, my life may even seem pretty chill, living on a holiday island, running my own plastic recycling studio, playing with a cat, hiking and travelling.

But this has been the most stressful year of my life, so much so that I had to go to the hospital. It’s been a year full of work and struggle, but also many successes that I don’t give myself enough credit for. Doing 3-4 jobs (depending on the season) is honestly fun, but it leaves me exhausted. Other that work achievements (launching a whole video course, running a plastic recycling design studio, finishing two films in wildlife, collaborating with cool brands and more things I don’t want to mention in this update) — birdwatching has been one positive constant in my life and I’ve managed to find multiple lifers this year. This is also the year when I actually feel like I am the person to consult about Kos island’s wildlife, humble brag, but only because we’re 3-4 nature enthusiasts and I’m the only one doing birding tours on this island. I’ve also gotten into sourdough bread: hit and miss, but I love the process. Danish rugbrød always comes out well though, thanks to my godmother’s recipe. Also, we now have a cat, her name is Belka, she’s a rescue from the street, we got her as a kitten after it got hit by a car and had two broken legs. She’s all good now, very cute. I’ve never had a warm-blooded pet before, it’s growing on me. I’ve also started therapy, I don’t know how long this will last, but I think it’s growing on me. I’m really happy I got to see many of my friends and family this year — living on an island in the south means being cut off from most of them. And of course my wife, who’s always there by my side, thank you for bearing with me.

I so so wish to post more, but unfortunately all my time is now consumed by work. I am on a mission to build a more stable life, whatever that means, and I want to come back to youtube and vlogging. I don’t know if any of my OG followers are still here, watching this video, but if you’re still subscribed, thank you ♥️
