Enneagram Type 5 Countertypes often don't act like the stereotypical type 5. Sometimes you will hear the enneagram type 5's called divergent. They are at the core of them a type 5 but their energy and behaviors don't always look like other type 5s. All types have a countertype. It has to do with the instinctual subtypes.
