The Night of Al-Isra & Al Miraj is a significant event in the life of Prophet Muhammed ﷺ. Many miracles were granted to the Messenger ﷺ by Allah, one of the greatest being on the 27th night of Rajab, known as Laylat al-Mi’rāj. On this night, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ travelled from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem and led all the Prophets in prayer. Following this, he ascended to the heavens and beyond, to converse and witness the beauty of his Lord. This date has profound importance for all Muslims as it was on this blessed night that Allah gifted the Ummah with the five obligatory prayers.
