Portugal Travel Vlog: Cork Factory Tour & The Chapel of Bones 😱

From eco-luxury cork to skull-covered walls—this Portugal day trip took a wild turn!

Join me on this unexpected journey as I start my day touring a local cork factory in Portugal (yes, the cork in your wine bottle might be from here!), then head to one of the country’s most haunting and thought-provoking sites: the Chapel of Bones in Évora.

This quote at the chapel entrance hit me hard—and I’ll explain what it really means in the video.

The Capela dos Ossos is a famous ossuary chapel attached to the Church of St. Francis (Igreja de São Francisco). Built in the 16th century by a Franciscan monk, the chapel contains the bones of an estimated 5,000 monks, artistically arranged along its walls and columns.

This isn’t just sightseeing — it’s a reflection on sustainability, life, death, and the stories we don’t often hear in the guidebooks.
