In this episode, we ski Lisa Falls, the Y Not, Box Elder, and Montgomery during a stretch of changing spring conditions in the Wasatch. A sudden storm on Lisa Falls brings whiteout conditions and avalanche concerns, followed by heavy warming on the Y Not the next day.
After a reset day skiing Box Elder, we head into Hogum, where a slide nearly pushes me off a cliff. Three close calls in four days—and while I still feel strong physically, the mental toll of constant decision-making finally catches up to me.
