The Journey: The Delusion of Dispensationalism (Part 1)

In this teaching we're tackling a doctrine that's influenced millions but, as we'll see through Scripture, history, and careful reasoning, leads many astray: "The Delusion of Dispensationalism."

In this series, we’re going to dig into this doctrine. Dispensationalism is a varied and complex doctrine with a series of tenets and core components. This means it will take more than one video to adequately cover this doctrine and refute it from Scripture.

In this video, we start with an in-depth overview of what Dispensationalism is, we take a brief look at its core tenets, including a detailed historical examination.

Then, in the remaining future videos in this series (2-3 more), we will address the tenets of the doctrine of Dispensationalism. With each point we will build from Scripture as our foundation, and we will look at some statements from proponents for this doctrine. We will then refute this doctrine from Scripture, history, and we will look at top scholars both for and against. We'll also explore the Pre-Tribulation Rapture as a key offshoot, though we will not get too deep into this particular topic, since we covered this in the video Is the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Biblical?". We will also clarify the biblical support for Premillennialism apart from Dispensationalism, and we will even note how this doctrine has been perpetrated through media.

This video will be somewhat different for the type of videos that we will normally be presenting on this channel. Today is going to be very informative and feel a bit more like a history lesson. However, Dispensationalism has such an extensive history and has influenced so many people in our day, that I feel it is crucial to understand the history and origin and the men who are responsible for spreading this erroneous doctrine.
