So I was wondering how a non-trained fighter would react to the Muay Thai clinch. I asked my friend to put on gloves and try to escape, get in better position, or hurt me in any way possible. Watch as I secure the full dominant clinch and he tries to fight his way out.
The Muay Thai clinch is pretty much standing grappling, with added knees and elbows. In clinch fighting, you must work to get a better, more dominant position so that you can control your opponent, set up knees, and even sweep them and take them down to the ground.
